We are currently offering Mitsubishi mini-split air conditioners. Some of the main advantages of mini splits are their small size and flexibility for heating and cooling each individual room. Many models can have as many as four indoor air handling units (for four zones or rooms) that are connected to one outdoor unit.
The number of indoor air handling units depends on the amount of heating or cooling required for the building or each zone (this can also be affected by how well the building is insulated). Each of the zones or designated rooms will have its own thermostat, thereby only needing to condition that space when it is occupied, saving both energy and money.
